Our family

Lauriston Produce, a family owned and run rural property in South Gippsland, Victoria is primarily a pre-training facility for thoroughbred horses.

But the passion for horses doesn’t stop there. The property at 245 Guy Road, Corinella, overlooking Westernport Bay, also has amazing soil and climate to branch into other boutique agriculture ventures.

Founded by parents and grandparents, the late Kevin O’Brien, and wife Tanith, the O’Brien family have curated over 580 olive trees and 3.6 acres of grape vines.

Our produce

The Frantoio olive trees had become paddock ornaments for racehorse ‘Legends’ paddock.  Harvested for the first time in a decade, the grove has produced an exquisite extra virgin olive oil, offering a magnificent depth and complexity of flavour.

The vineyard, planted over twenty years ago by Kevin, family and friends, now bears a stunning Pinot Noir grape.  Under the expertise of chief winemaker Marcus Satchell from Dirty-3 wines, Lauriston is proud of the ongoing journey from vine to wine, offering a Pinot Noir and Rose that both display a smooth distinct style and character.

Our Frantoio olives are cold extracted to create our 100% Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Our Pinot Noir grapes are hand picked from low yielding vines. Winemaker Marcus Satchell of Dirty Three Wines in Inverloch transforms our grapes into Pinot Noir and Pinot Noir Rosé.
